According to the research data revealed by the industry research institution Runto, in April 2024, the export volume of monitors in Mainland China was 8.42 million units, a YoY increase of 15%; the export value was 6.59 billion yuan (approximately 930 million US dollars), a YoY increase of 24%.

The total export volume of monitors in the first four months was 31.538 million units, a YoY increase of 15%; the export value was 24.85 billion yuan, a YoY increase of 26%; the average price was 788 yuan, a YoY increase of 9%.

In April, the main regions where the export volume of monitors in Mainland China increased significantly were North America, Western Europe, and Asia; the export volume to the Middle East and Africa region decreased substantially.

North America, which ranked second in export volume in the first quarter, returned to first place in April with an export volume of 263,000 units, a YoY increase of 19%, accounting for 31.2% of the total export volume. Western Europe accounted for approximately 2.26 million units in export volume, a YoY increase of 20%, and ranked second with a proportion of 26.9%. Asia is the third largest export region, accounting for 21.7% of the total export volume, approximately 1.82 million units, with a YoY increase of 15%. The export volume to the Middle East and Africa region decreased sharply by 25%, accounting for only 3.6% of the total export volume, approximately 310,000 units.
